The Heart Truth for Women is an event to raise awareness of the threat of heart disease among women, and it will be held at noon Friday, Feb-3-2012. And it is noted as national red wear day (people around Canada, part of nearby region wear red color dress), to symbolically spread this cause to common people. And at most Heart Truth fashion show, many fashion celebrities and designers take part in this event with their new collections of dresses in red. 


  The first annual Heart Truth Fashion Show was held on March 18, 2008, and the event, was debuted at Toronto's L'Oréal Fashion Week. And it continued every year. Last, Heart Truth fashion show took place at The Carlu on March 24th, 2011 in Toronto and for the first time, men fashion celebrities also involved at this program. Celebrities include ( Bal Arneson, Tre Armstrong, Isabelle Brasseur, Deborah Cox, Wendy Crewson, Arlene Dickinson, Mylene Dinh-Robic, Megan Follows, Chan Hon Goh, Christiane Laberge, Debra McGrath, Andrea Martin, Colin Mochrie, Enuka Okuma, Seamus O'Regan, Dina Pugliese, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Emmanuelle Vaugier).

Pamela Love, a designer who made a strong impact on fashion lover’s with her own unique jewelry designs. At first began her career as an artist’s assistant, an art director and stylist for photo shoots, music videos, and films etc... And while working, she could not find jewelries of her taste. And then she began to make jewelries of her own taste and creativity.

Her jewelry pieces mostly symbolize love, death, animals, nature, music etc…At an interview, she opens about it.

“I have always loved animals and nature very much and feel that they have a magical power.   I am interested in creating jewelry that i feel a spiritual connection to. Animals, nature, love, religion, music, life, death and all these things are a part of this.” 

She produced custom jewelry for HBO's hit TV show, True Blood, Which hits the best of most. Her collections like crow skull necklaces, rings, Eagle claw hand accessories are the most popular ones. She considers, making a jewelry piece is an artwork and she makes it as a painting. And in future, she plan for new jewelry collections and collaborations. 

At last thing, Fashion things should be reachable and in universal budget. Pamela Love's jewelries are attracted by the most but all of them can’t own it, because of its high cost and availability of them on selected stores. Anyhave, try to wear it at least once.

British Fashion Awards 2011 - Entire story

2011 British Fashion Awards has now come and gone! It was a huge night on the industry schedule with a whole host of designers, models and celebrities in attendance. Taking out the night's top award was Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen, who won the prestigious Designer of the Year Award. The win rounds out an incredible year for Burton, who was charged with the once-in-a-lifetime honor of designing Kate Middleton's royal wedding gown.

Another big award was handed to Victoria Beckham, who beat off Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Burberry to take home the Best Designer Brand prize which was given to her by Marc Jacobs. Although McCartney didn't go away empty-handed, she was awarded the gong for Red Carpet Award. While Stella Tennant was named Model of the Year and Alexa Chung took out the British Style Award for the second year in a row, go girl!
